Life with a Three-Year-Old

Living with my daughter and her husband is difficult, fun, requiring multiple compromises, long talks. But living with their son, Alex, who turned three in September, is always amazing, enjoyable, loving, interesting and, most of all, a RIOT. Early this morning, I heard him patter down the hall toward his parents' bedroom calling, "Mommy, it's Christmas time!"
